Hello to everyone,

It’s that time again.

This is the time to get your resources out and join me in helping Autism Speaks do a good cause for people with a disease for which there is no cure as yet.

I probably know that you have heard or read the stories involving autistic persons like me getting into weird situations – the type of thing I used to do when I was young.  But these stories are all in the past.  We want to focus on the future, meaning that we must help Autism Speaks get the donations they need to continue research and start new programs for the persons with autism and their families.

My name is Brandon Bryant, the head of Brandon’s Pacers.  This organization, which I founded in 2006, is just one of the teams and individuals that are part of the Autism Speaks family.  This year, the Walk will originate at South Street Seaport, Pier 17, New York, on Sunday, 29 September 2024, at 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.

This year, I am walking in the memory of my aunt, Myra Green, who passed away in March.  Although she seldom donated, she is one of the many family members who encouraged me to start my yearly campaign.

I am counting on you to be a part of our growing family of Pacers.  If you would like to donate, I can accept cash or checks. When paying by check, please make it payable to Autism Speaks and write “Brandon’s Pacers” on the memo for fast response.  Again, my goal this year is $1,000.00. I have been successful in reaching this mark for the past few years and I am looking forward to doing so for another season.

Remember, the money you donated will be used for research and to finance new and current programs as well as continuing sponsorships.
