Hi friends!
I’m Maggie, and I’m honored to be part of Maggie’s Mindful Playground, a wellness company founded by the amazing Maggie, dedicated to making yoga, mindfulness, and movement accessible to children of all abilities—especially those in the autism and special needs community.
This year, we’re proud to support the Autism Speaks Walk not as a walking team, but as a sponsor with a table full of love, resources, and calm energy! One of our incredible teachers will even lead the pre-walk stretch session to get everyone grounded and ready to move with intention.
This mission is close to my heart. I’m a mom to an incredible 6-year-old named Mateo, who has ADHD and is currently being evaluated for autism. He’s joyful, bright, and full of questions about the world—and like so many of the children I work with through self-direction, he reminds me every day why creating safe, supportive spaces matters so much.
Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them has unique strengths, challenges, and potential. Autism Speaks is there for them—and you and I can be too.
It’s only through the dedicated support of people like us that Autism Speaks can continue their vital mission. Each year:
The Autism Response Team makes direct contact with tens of thousands of individuals looking for guidance and support.
More than 1 million people access free services and resources across the U.S.
Autism Speaks continues to invest in research that leads to more personalized treatments and therapies for autistic individuals.
You can find out more about where your fundraising dollars go at autismspeaks.org/our-work.
That’s why we’ve set a goal to raise $2,000—to help fund the programs, research, and advocacy that make a real difference in people's lives.
Whether you’ve personally been touched by autism or just believe in a more inclusive world, please consider donating to help us reach our goal. Every dollar makes an impact.
Together, we can enhance the lives of people with autism and create a world where every child is celebrated, supported, and empowered.
With gratitude and love,
Maggie & the Maggie’s Mindful Playground Team
