Those of you who know me, know that Autism is a very big and important part of my life. Working with children on the autism spectrum for the past 6-7 years has been such a beautiful learning experience. Little did I know, all of the time and dedication would be guiding and preparing me for my most special case. My amazing son Xander was diagnosed with level 2 autism earlier this year. As a mom and educator, I am grateful to be able to give him the support he needs. With lots of advocating, l have been able to take advantage of many therapy services and resources. While there will be challenges up ahead, we are ready to face them head on with love and support every step of the way. I hope the same for everyone on the autism spectrum!
