Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.

As a Licensed Mental Health counselor working closely with young children to help them meet their developmental goals, I am raising funds for autism awareness and support because I see firsthand the critical need for early intervention, education, and advocacy?especially in underserved communities. Growing up and now serving in a community where autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is often misunderstood or stigmatized, I am deeply committed to breaking down those barriers. Too many children go undiagnosed, unsupported, or misjudged simply because of a lack of awareness and access to resources. By raising funds, I hope to not only provide more support for these children and their families, but also to foster greater understanding, empathy, and acceptance. Every child deserves the chance to thrive and that begins with advocacy, education, and a community willing to stand with them.
