Zahir Israel is 9 year old who values family, enjoys learning and making new friends. Zahir enjoys science and an astronomer in the making. Zahir love to study space, plants and animals. Zahir enjoys sports, visiting the zoo, aquarium, museums, and vacationing with family.

Zahir was diagnosed with autism in his earlier years after Early Childhood intervention. In Zahir?s toddler stage, who knew a world pandemic would affect us! During the pandemic Zahir lost consistency of his services received(speech, occupational therapy, along physical therapy). This experiment was a setback, making it very difficult to find the proper learning setting once Zahir return back to school. Experiencing changes of schools, changes to his IEP evaluations/and numerous doctors. Zahir did not give up. We, his village didn?t give up! We began to educate ourselves as parents, family members and friends. Learning and growing, having more patience, acceptance and understanding Zahir?s needs in order to crate a safe environment for Zahir to grow and survive. Zahir's village strive to unite to help provide a good and positive childhood that would be a memorable experience with his village.
