Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Dylan's Orbit

As many of you know, our favorite little guy, Dylan, was diagnosed with autism by the time he was 18 months old. Despite the challenges of acquiring early intervention and special education services during a global pandemic, we were fortunate to have the knowledge, guidance, and support of family, friends, neighbors, and professionals to assist us in accessing resources and advocating for Dylan's needs. Our solar system enthusiast is currently 5 years old, and we are so grateful for the individuals, therapists, teachers, agencies, and organizations that comprise his “orbit,” as we journey alongside and around our sweet boy so that he may achieve his goals and thrive in his own unique way.

Please consider joining our team, “Dylan’s Orbit,” at Jones Beach on October 8, 2023, as we walk to raise awareness and funds for the mission of Autism Speaks -- to fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services for the autism community.

When you join our team, you become part of an amazing community of the most passionate and committed individuals, families, friends and professionals — all dedicated to helping people with autism reach their full potential. The incredible support of people like YOU over the years has made it possible for Autism Speaks to meet so many milestones — advancing life-enhancing breakthroughs in autism care, providing more free, personalized support, increasing childhood screening and intervention resources and working to create a more accepting, understanding and inclusive world for our broad and diverse community. But with more than 70 million people affected by autism today, there is still much more to be done. Please join the team — set your fundraising goal — and start making a difference today!
