Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Sacramento Walk

Team Devin O.

Devin was recently diagnosed with mild autism. He is in the 2nd Grade. Devin has also been diagnosed with ADHD as well as as the recent autism diagnosis. Devin is struggling in a regular classroom setting, but we are still learning what is best for him. Devin loves to play basketball, ride his bike and roller skates, he loves his r/c cars as well as playing with anything that has wheels. Devin also loves watching you tube videos. Devin has 3 older sisters as well as 3 younger sisters. Devin is a super sweet boy that tries really hard to stay out of trouble.

Myself, Devin's mom Aerial, his 6 sisters and Devin will be running/walking in the Sacramento area Autism Walk this year. It is our goal to raise $1,000 for Autism Awareness. Please consider a small donation to our family Team Devin O. We would also love for you to join us on our team and walk with us the day of the event!

When you join our team, you become part of an amazing community of the most passionate and committed individuals, families, friends and professionals — all dedicated to helping people with autism reach their full potential. The incredible support of people like YOU over the years has made it possible for Autism Speaks to meet so many milestones — advancing life-enhancing breakthroughs in autism care, providing more free, personalized support, increasing childhood screening and intervention resources and working to create a more accepting, understanding and inclusive world for our broad and diverse community. But with more than 70 million people affected by autism today, there is still much more to be done. Please join the team — set your fundraising goal — and start making a difference today!
