This year we’ve decided to walk for Carter!! Carter is a very intelligent 6 year old boy. Carter has always been a sweetheart and a joy for everyone to be around. As a baby, Carter barely coo’d and didn’t meet most of the milestones relevant to his age and we were concerned. We were advised that Carter would be non-verbal and unable to communicate with us so we should begin teaching him alternatives to speaking. By the time Carter was three he began showing signs that he could read and identify shapes and numbers by name! What a blessing to be able to prove the doctors wrong!! To this day, Carter continues to shock us with his vocabulary and his reading skills!! Carter loves math (we’re multiplying), reading books to his loved ones and overall any type of learning! Carter is now attending Kindergarten and gaining his independence as the days go by!! Believe me when i say everybody knows Carter’s name!!! We welcome you to come out and support Carter and all of the NRG (energy) that he brings to our lives.
