My son Jeremiah is 4 years old and level 1 autistic. He just happens to see the world a little bit differently than most of us do and that’s okay! He is one of the happiest, silliest, sweetest boys I know. He also has trouble regulating his emotions, has sensory issues, was and somewhat is still speech delayed, elopes and has little to no sense of danger. He loves to make new friends, play with his brother, watch SpongeBob, play with dinosaurs, run, jump, climb, swing, slide and swim. Through amazing programs like autism speaks we have gotten so much support and information helping us navigate  this journey of autism with our son. Through programs and spreading awareness autism speaks is a voice for many of our loved ones on the spectrum who can’t speak for themselves.
