Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects communication and behavior. Although it can be diagnosed at any age, it is said to be a "developmental disorder" because symptoms tend to appear around age 2.

While there is currently no known single cause of Autism, early diagnosis can help a person receive the support and services they need to live a quality life, filled with opportunity.
