If you are here, I want to personally thank you for visiting my page! I wrote all of this myself, no AI, and not a generated template of any kind, so thank you for taking the time to read!
This year I am running for the first time in this event to help raise awareness and support in our communities of a condition that affects over 70 million children and adults. That condition is Autism, and it's a condition that speaks personally to myself, and for you to even visit my page truly warms my heart. My goal is simply to raise awareness for this condition and educate others who may not be aware of what Autism is and how you can help.
Autism is a neurological condition that affects individuals in the way they interact, communicate, learn, and/or behave. As with everyone, we are all different in life, and those with this condition simply have their own unique ways of growing. Their uniqueness is not unlike yours or mine, but the condition does bring certain challenges they face that we can all help with!
Part of my journey with supporting is to simply raise awareness on the condition in hopes that those who get involved can see that they are supporting a great community full of great people who may need a little extra help from time to time.
As of 2000, roughly 1 – 150 children were diagnosed with Autism. Fast forward to today, that number is roughly 1 – 34 children based on latest statistics. That is an increase of 5-fold over a 25-year period which to me, means something is happening. Is it the food we eat, the medicines we take, our ever-changing environment, or our lifestyle changes perhaps? No one can exactly yet pinpoint the cause or root, but that is what this organization and community are working on with hopes of discovering. Being aware and helping with our support will, in my opinion, only help change things for the better so those with this condition and those yet to come will have better resources and care to help them grow and succeed!
From all you that have visited, generously donated, and shown support, I truly appreciate you from the bottom of my heart!
