I’m fundraising for Autism Speaks, a cause that is very personal to my family and I. My son Greyson was diagnosed with autism at a young age. At the time, we didn’t fully understand what that meant or what the journey would look like. There were moments of uncertainty, a lot of learning, and times that felt overwhelming. But there has also been so much growth, progress, and pride in how far he has come.

Autism is something that isn’t always openly talked about, especially in Hispanic families. Because of that, a lot of what we’ve learned has come from seeking out resources, support, and community along the way. This fundraiser is important to me because it helps provide access to education, services, and advocacy for families who are navigating similar experiences.
