Why I Walk for Autism Speaks
Hi my name is Kynzleigh Luning, I'm 3yrs old and will be turning 4 in September. I'm walking to raise funds for the mission of Autism Speaks - to fuel innovative research and make connections to critical lifelong supports and services for the autism community. This is my 3rd year attending the walk and I'm super excited to be apart of this walk as well. My first year was a blast and my second year was in my own neighborhood due to Covid, but it didn't stop us from supporting. My mommy and daddy went all out making it special for me both years. I have autism, but my autism is my super power. I was diagnosed with Autism Level 3 on June 11, 2019 at 21 months old. I was also diagnosed at an early age with a Global Developmental Delay and Septo-optic dysplasia, Absence of the septum pellucidum and optic nerve hypoplasia. In my case, my eye sight is impaired by this condition, but my right eye is affected the most and I wear glasses. I am also anemic, but I am who I am because of my disability and conditions. I'm proud to be who I am and I will support my peers along their journey with autism as well. Please support me by donating and help me meet my fundraising goal - and you, too, can join the team and make an impact for people living with autism! Thank you all so much and have a blessed day!!! Love, KynzleighView More
