Hi, I’m Dalyn (pronounced Day-Lynn), and I am Autistic. Being autistic doesn’t mean I’m slow or dumb, it means I have challenges and sensitivity in some areas of my life. For instance, I cannot speak yet but I can understand everything you say to me. My ears are sensitive to certain noises, but I’m not deaf. Those are just some characteristics of autism.
Overall I am wonderful and perfectly made and that’s what counts. I have a twin sister that I love so much name Devyn, she’s my best friend too.
Please help me raise money for awareness of Autism.
My team name is “It’s my Day!” Because I’m Dalyn and I want to experience every Day with love, fun and happiness!
In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!
