Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too.
Everyday we hear and see people and families that walk through life a little different. This walk for Autism is support families like mine and many others where we are constantly looking for programs and higher education or aids to help us with our journeys. My son is almost 19 and has autism. He is most remarkable person I have ever met and he goes through life with a smile on his face. A lot of people are going to discuss hardships but I want to highlight the happy times. He is an amazing artists, he loves to draw and build helicopters from legos. He loves the movies Cars from Disney, will tell you a Mac and Cheese Burger is his favorite food and purplish blue is his favorite color. He has a laugh you can hear for miles and while he does have his moments where he struggles and its hard to watch, he always end up with a smile as he works his way through a situation. He is one of the most compassionate people I know and has a heart bigger than most. Please help me in donating to this amazing organization who helps people of all ages and abilities.
Thank you!!! :)
