Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Team Carter

Our 5 year old son Carter was diagnosed with Autism just after his 2nd birthday. We've seen how much stress it's placed on us, but thankfully we're lucky to have been blessed with great health insurance and access to so many amazing therapies for him.  Carter has been thriving with the help of previous weekly Speech Therapy & Occupational Therapy, and is attending preschool again this fall.  His confidence has taken off as he’s been able to communicate better with us & he is now a peer mentor for his classroom!

Our goal is to raise Acceptance & Awareness of Autism, as well as to raise funds for those who are not as fortunate, so that all kids and/or adults can receive the necessary treatments and hopefully alleviate even a little stress for some of those families. I look at it as a blessing that we've been given the opportunity to see the world through Carter's eyes.  We appreciate you checking out our page, and even if you can't donate, please just spread kindness and teach your kids to treat everyone with respect :)
