Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Join our team in raising funds to have a voice with legislators, to have access to the information and resources we need, to support research and medical discovery, and to help fund local services through the mission of Autism Speaks. Together, we can accomplish amazing things for people living with autism. Join the team and begin your fundraising journey today! Set your individual goal at $150 and you’ll be eligible for a Walk Tee Shirt – which, by the way, was purchased from a business that employs people with autism.

Dear AHS Family and Friends,

Thank you so much for joining the American Heritage school team for the Autism Speaks event coming up Sunday, March 5, 2023. Thank you for your generosity and support! All walkers should arrive at Meyer Amphitheater, 105 Evernia Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401 at 9:30 AM. There will be an event kick off at 10 AM and the two mile walk will begin soon after. All American Heritage students need to sign in with Mrs. Schiffman when they arrive in order to earn their community service hours. Students will need a device to scan a QR code at the walk. Our team will meet by a tent that says “Peace, Love, Solve.” It will be located to the right of the stage area. Students will provide to Mrs. Schiffman their name, BD number and grade level to ensure outside community service hours are provided. Students do not need to fill or submit out any community service forms. Mrs. Schiffman’s will be turning in names for community service hours.

If you have an American Heritage spirit shirt, it would be wonderful if you can wear it. If not, try to wear navy and/or white. All families will be providing their own transportation and supervision for this event. Looking forward to a beautiful walk with everyone for this amazing cause! If you have any questions, feel free to email Mrs. Michelle Schiffman at the following email address:
