Autism touches over 70 millions of families around the world. For many children, it means experiencing the world in a different way — communicating differently, processing emotions differently, and navigating daily life with unique challenges.
For families, it often means learning a new language of patience, advocacy, and unconditional love.
Five years ago, our family began this journey when my daughter Mia was diagnosed with autism. Since then, she has taught us so much about resilience, compassion, and the beauty of seeing the world through a different lens.
This year we are running a 5K for Autism Awareness to celebrate Mia and to stand with the many families walking a similar path. Our goal is not only to run together as a community, but also to raise funds that support autism awareness and resources for children and families who need them.
* Every step we take represents inclusion.
* Every contribution helps create more understanding.
* Every person who joins us helps amplify the voice of the autism community.
