Our son Bradley was diagnosed with autism at age four. His mom and I started noticing signs around age two, and seeking early intervention has been one of the best things we’ve done for his development. Over the years, we’ve seen tremendous progress in his social skills, schoolwork, and ability to express himself. Bradley has such a loving and kind spirit. His favorite activities include watching movies, playing with his little brother Landen, building Star Wars Legos, and anticipating the arrival of his baby sister.
As parents, our mission is to support Bradley through the joys and challenges, helping him grow both physically and mentally, working through meltdowns, and guiding him to be his best self.
Both his mom and I are teachers, and raising autism awareness is a cause close to our hearts.
If you’re attending the Autism Awareness Baseball Tournament at Ayala High School, this will be our first official tournament. Last year, we held a small round-robin with three teams, and the positive response inspired us to expand to eight teams this year, with hopes of even more growth next year. My goal is to bring the baseball and autism communities together, as both hold great importance in my life. It would mean the world to us if you’d consider donating and helping spread autism awareness within our baseball community.
