Hello, Family and Friends of the Camacho's
I am putting this walking team together in Honor of my son, Jacob Camacho. Jacob is a bright nine-year-old young man with many strengths. He is a friend to everyone he meets with the most empathetic heart. Jacob truly has a way of embracing each day as it comes and reminds us all to stop and smell the roses every now and then. He's complimentative by nature and is always offering a helping hand. If you have ever had the pleasure of meeting him, I can 100% guarantee with certainty he has left an impression on your heart. As many know, Jacob was diagnosed with a dual-diagnosis of Autism, and ADHD as well as being identified as Gifted. I've never felt more of a need than starting now from this point forward in advocating for my son in any and all things he enters or wishes to achieve, cheering him on, and spreading awareness for those with the most incredible neurodivergent minds. Come join us for one of many walks to come to show Jacob who stands beside him as his life continues to unfold with endless possibilities. Donating is not required, but greatly appreciated. Your presence is more than enough to us.
Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential. Autism Speaks will be there for them. You and I can be too. Please join me by donating to help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we have the power to enhance the lives of people with autism and make a meaningful difference. Thanks so much for your support!
