WELCOME DANDELIONS !
First and foremost, I'd like to appreciate your time for checking FLOATING DANDELIONS out !
My son Desmond Hunkin who may look 3x his age but is only 6 years old is non verbal. So when other children or parent want to scorn my child of something that he had no understanding of.... that is where I come in and protect my son at all cost. In order to protect my son... I would have to enlighten parents about what Autism is,
Autism is not just a word that people can just throw around. It is something to accept, embrace, and be proud of. With just patience, knowledge, and therapy.. we are not alone!
I knew that he chose me to be his mother because I am strong young lady who can spread the testimony of his journey and empower and inspire those who felt alone.
Thank you for visiting my page. All is welcome and hope you board on the Floating Dandelions to help fundraise Autism Speaks !

THE DANDELION
A Symbol of Resilience
The name derives from the French term dents-de-lion, meaning lion's teeth. The dandelion is a well-known weed. Yet, this humble plant is also a symbol of hope, healing, and resilience in many cultures around the world from Europe to Asia.
