David's Autism journey started about 1 year ago. Since David is considered "non-verbal" we started looking into therapies for him to help with his speech. We started David on Speech therapy while he was seeing other doctors. He eventually was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder in December of 2022 and since then he has been working extra hard with Speech, Occupational, & ABA therapies. He's made so much progress in such a short amount of time and we know that he is on the road to great success. While he doesn't say to much yet he is definitely all boy with the attitude to match He loves to be outside playing. Some of his favorite things to do are swim, play with water, run, playing with bubbles, and helping mommy in the garden. He especially loves playing ball with his big brother Andrew and cruising while listening to music with his Dad. I can go on and on about how special my son is but one thing I can say about him is once you know him you fall in love with his personality and how sweet he can be. His smile is contagious. The sparkles in his eye and his silliness make him so amazingly unique and I wouldn't change a thing about him, we'll always be by his side to do our part as his family. All the support makes it much easier. Be kind and remember Autism is proof that love doesn't need words.
