Hi and hello! If you?re reading this, we hold the deepest appreciation for you. You?re in Mavericks circle of comfort and trust. And that has no price. We are fortunate to have you and we will always know it was through your love and support that we were able to give Maverick the best opportunity to reach his goals. 

 This is the 2nd year we participate in this walk. This organization leads the autism awareness around the country. They raise money to help the community in different ways and raise awareness to what Autism is.

Maverick is in school full time attending TK. He receives speech, occupational therapy and behavioral therapy services. His extraordinary care team compromised of teachers and therapists have helped him make break throughs in his progress.

We have to continue advocating for him. Mavericks journey has taught us that Autism is only a part of a person, not everything. Autistic people are entitled to every opportunity and equal treatment. Include everyone always regardless of their differences = inclusivity. God made everyone different, but equal. 

People in the spectrum experience life intensely and deeply. Everything is meaningful to them. The autism community only seeks acceptance and not a cure. It wasn?t Tylenol! And truthfully we may never know and it doesn?t matter.  We love him hard and find more resources to reach his goals. 

On behalf of the families who live with autism, Thank you for being here. Because of your presence we feel less alone. My mom heart will always pray God gives you in ten-fold the support and love you?ve given our family. Always grateful for you all being there for us in our toughest battle.
