In 2023, my world changed in a way I never expected. My beautiful daughter was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Like many parents, I felt a whirlwind of emotions—uncertainty, concern, and an overwhelming desire to ensure she had every opportunity to thrive. As I learned more about ASD, I discovered both the challenges and the incredible strengths that come with it. But most importantly, I realized that no parent should have to navigate this journey alone.Determined to make a difference, I began participating in autism awareness walks, not just as a mother, but as an advocate. These walks are more than just events; they are a lifeline for families like mine. They raise crucial funds for programs that provide speech therapy, cognitive development support, and essential resources that help children with autism reach their full potential. Every dollar raised goes toward giving children the tools they need to communicate, learn, and grow. It helps parents find the support they need to be the best advocates for their children. And most of all, it fuels hope—the hope that every child, regardless of their challenges, can build a bright future. Today, I invite you to stand with me.
