We are walking in the 5K to raise funds and awareness for autism because of our son, Nathan. His journey has taught us so much about love, resilience, and the importance of acceptance. Diagnosed with autism, Nathan is a bright, imaginative child who has a unique perspective on the world. His passion for dinosaurs fuels his curiosity, and his incredible intelligence shines in everything he does. While Nathan faces challenges in social interactions and sensory processing, he continues to inspire us every day. Our family works hard to support him, creating a nurturing environment where he can thrive and express himself. We believe it?s essential to raise awareness about autism, to show that children like Nathan are not defined by their diagnosis but by their individuality and potential. By participating in this 5K, we aim to spread the message that acceptance and understanding can transform lives. Every step we take is in support of Nathan and all children on the autism spectrum.
