Welcome to Team SSS also known as Team Superheroes Sam & Shayne 

We are very excited to participate in this year’s Autism Speaks Walk together and hope you will join us to celebrate our Superheroes Sam and Shayne! Sam and Shayne’s moms became friends a few years ago when they both were part of a dear friend’s wedding. They quickly bonded over stories of being first-time moms, navigating this new journey. Over the years, they stayed in touch, getting together for mom nights, playdates and birthday parties. But their bond became closer when their sons were both diagnosed with autism. 

While it has come with challenges, it has also come with a new understanding of what this diagnosis means. If you’ve met Sam and Shayne, you know that they each have their own set of incredible strengths. They truly are our superheroes! And what better way to celebrate and raise awareness and acceptance, than to join forces and start a team! You can learn more about Sam and Shayne on their mom’s pages.
