Tayton was diagnosed with Autism back in December of 2023 and it has been quite a journey (from not knowing to finally knowing). There were so many questions that we had that we did not know who to go to, or how to go about it. There were so many people criticizing us and our parenting. There were so many people who judged our child for being behind developmentally.
But still we have stayed strong for him. Though this journey has been exhausting, hard, and stressful, we would never change it.
God has brought so many amazing people into our lives! Tayton's support system has only grown so much because so many people are willing to open their hearts up to him and our family on this trying journey. We ask for even a small donation to help Tayton and other autistic people have as many opportunities as someone who does not have autism!
Autistic or not, it will always take a village to raise a child!
We appreciate your support!
In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!
