Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Astronomical Alex

Alex has always been Astronomical. He loves to smile and laugh and even began talking early. One day Alex stopped talking and his smile and laughter were replaced with frustration as he tried to navigate how to communicate with me and other family members. At the age of 3 Alex was diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Throughout his journey he has made tremendous growth thanks to all the early interventions from his ABA behavioral therapist, speech language pathologist, special education teacher, Mr. Jake, occupational therapist, and physical therapist. Now at 5 and entering kindergarten his verbal language is stronger than ever. Alex loves to show off his verbal skills by providing astronomical facts about the solar system.

Please donate to team Astronomical Alex to help further research, resources, and access for children, adults, and families who have someone just as Astronomical as Alex.
