This beautiful family that my husband and I have created -

There has been so much that have happened over these past few years.

When our son (Tayton) was diagnosed with ASD our world changed. Not for the bad - but for the better. We saw him in a different and better light. We saw the full him. And not once did our unconditional love change for him.

Fast forward almost 2 years later, more of us have been diagnosed with ASD. One of our daughters (Taoni), our other son (TaVonn), and me (Mom).

It is crazy to me that we get judged for being "different" instead of being loved for it. Being accepted more.

One thing we can always be appreciative for is the fact that we have an abundance of love and support surrounding us. Our God has been here by our side through it all. Through every testing, therapy, cry, scream, and struggle.

We are here to tell our story today because God has stayed faithful to us - and always will.

Helping our children and myself have helped in so many ways.

Our children are speaking more (Praise God!). Our oldest is using coping skills and managing ways for him to understand his emotions more - thinking before reacting (Hallelujah!).

I am finally getting the help and support I need to thrive not just as a mom - but as an adult who struggled with ASD all these years and did not know (Thank you Jesus!).

Though a handful of us have ASD - we still are all different. No one person has the same ASD as the next. Us Autistic folks, we are truly something special.

My family - we are a STRONG Clan. We believe in the power of love, joy, and God.

With Him, ANYTHING is possible.
