Fort Worth Walk

Texas Timsons

You see that amazing boy in the Captain America shirt? He is the reason that we are walking for Autism Speaks! 1 in 54 children in the United States are affected by autism. On May 31, 2016, the Texas Timsons learned that their son was one of the 54. The last five years have been a true journey into the unknown. There have been many bumps along the way, but there have also been amazing people and organizations that have stood by and supported the Texas Timsons as they have learned more and educated others about autism. To know Zachary is to love him, and we are so lucky to walk in this world alongside this wonderful and unique child!

Join our team in raising funds to have a voice with legislators, to have access to the information and resources we need, to support research and medical discovery, and to help fund local services through the mission of Autism Speaks. Together, we can accomplish amazing things for people living with autism. Join the team and begin your fundraising journey today! Set your individual goal at $150 and you’ll be eligible for a Walk Tee Shirt – which, by the way, was purchased from a business that employs people with autism.
