The Kaleidoscopic Kadence

Welcome to our page The Kaleidoscopic Kadence, I am the team captain Mo! Mother of an amazing son named Cadence. :)

Cadence was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) last year of July 2023 since then we as a family faced our challenges and triumphs through this new journey. As a parent of an autistic child, I have learned children and adults with ASD often have problems with social communication and interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests. 

Cadence is currently a high-functioning 3 year old on the spectrum. Cadence attends a certified school readiness ABA center called Outside the Box located in Deerfield Beach, FL where he continues to soar, explore his interest, and reaches his full potential. Cadence loves trucks, bubbles, balls, and his favorite ABC's. Cadence comes from a Caribbean based household (Haitian) where the awareness is not talked about as often in the community. Our purpose for walking is to support my son, children like him, and all others with ASD. To continue to raise autism awareness, and continue to form a supportive community where families likes ours can find comfort, security, and knowledge.
