When you join our team, you become part of an amazing community of the most passionate and committed individuals, families, friends and professionals - all dedicated to helping people with autism reach their full potential. The incredible support of people like YOU over the years has made it possible for Autism Speaks to meet so many milestones - advancing life-enhancing breakthroughs in autism care, providing more free, personalized support, increasing childhood screening and intervention resources and working to create a more accepting, understanding and inclusive world for our broad and diverse community. But with more than 70 million people affected by autism today, there is still much more to be done.
Every year I join this event, and not to say I did. I do It because without this organization. I would not have found the resources I have Been blessed to find for my family and my daughter. Not only did Autism Speaks help me find that, it helped me find out who I am. I can not imagine the amount of kids, and adults who could benefit from resources available through Autism Speaks. I know What they have done for me and I hope To be a connecting piece for them to help others. Joining this team doesn't just support me, or my daughter. It helps advocate awareness for acceptance and resources to many who also don't even know they need it yet.
