HI EVERYONE!! I did something so crazy and signed up for my DREAM DISNEY race through the Charity Autism Speaks. The race is called The Dopey Challenge 2026 at Walt Disney World. It is 4 consecutive days of running (crazy, I know) a 5k,10k, half marathon and finally a full marathon. Total miles being 48.6. 

I am raising funds to support a cause that is important to me while accomplishing a huge personal goal. What an amazing way to train hard for something while donating to such an amazing cause!! 

Autism effects 1 in 36 children in the United States. Autism Speaks is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions. They empower people with autism and their families with resources, online tools and information covering the life span. 

I chose this organization to run with because it is near and dear to my heart, having family as well as friends who have children with Autism.
