Fundraising & Collecting Donations: Help us reach our event fundraising goal! Donations can be made directly to your personal fundraising page or checks can be made to Autism Speaks and mailed to PO Box 199, Rocky Hill, NJ 08553 in memo - your name & Georgia 5k. All participants can collect donations in advance and bring to the Georgia 5K on race morning! Checks, cash, and credit card donations are accepted. 

AJC Peachtree Qualifier Course: The 5K course runs through beautiful Piedmont Park with minimal grade hills. Water will be available at the start/finish and the half-way point. This course is USATF certified: GA19038WC / GA19039WC and Official 2022 AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event.

Event Schedule:

7:30am: Packet Pickup & Race registration opens 
8:30am: Day of registration closes
8:40am: Pre-race warm up/Opening Ceremonies
9:00am: 5k Start
9:40am: Closing Ceremonies & Awards

Location: Piedmont Park - Charles Allen Drive Gate

Parking: The closest parking to the event is available in the parking lot next to Park Tavern, along 10th Street and surrounding neighborhoods. Please note the Pidemont Park parking deck is about a 1 mile walk from the 5k start/finish. Event participants are responsible for their own parking fees.

During the Race: Spectators are welcome to sit along the grass to cheer on runners but for safety reasons, please do not enter the race route. Chairs & blankets are permitted. 

Registration Information: Online registration will close at 8PM, EST on Friday, November 18th. Day of registration is $50 and available via cash, credit card and check. 

In-Person Runner Fees (includes chip timed race bib, event shirt and finisher medal)
Early: $25 through June 30th
Regular: $35 July 1st - September 30th
Late: $45 October 1st - November 18th, 8pm EST
Race Day: $50
Virtual Runner Fees: $35 (event shirt and finisher medal will be shipped)

Virtual Race: We encourage those who can't be with us at Piedmont Park, GA on Saturday, November 19th to participate in our race virtually. Find a great place to complete your race! This could be a local path, high school track, or treadmill — wherever you're able to safely run. Virtual runners will receive their event shirt and finisher medal to the address provided when registering. Virtual runners are encouraged to snap a photo in their t-shirt with run location and tag us @AutismSpeaksGA on Facebook or Instagram or use #AutismSpeaksGA5k.

Packet pick-up: Race bibs and shirts will be available to pick up on race morning. Finisher medals will be received at the finish line post-race.

Prohibited: For safety reasons, the following are not permitted in the 5K: skates, bikes, motorized scooters, pets (non-service animals). We ask that those who wish to participate with wheelchairs, strollers, bike joggers to start near the back of the 5K race.

Timing & Results: Provided by Orion Timing using disposable B-tag timing technology. Race results will be posted on the results page of the event website after the completion of the Georgia 5K. Awards: Certificates and commemorative race decals will be given at the event to the top fundraiser, top fundraising team captain, fastest run time for overall male & female, and top 3 race times in the following categories:
