News & Updates

We look forward to walking with you this year, rain or shine, in downtown Columbus! Kid's activities start at 9am!  Arrive early.  There is plenty for the whole family to do.  The 1.2 mile walk begins at 10:30am from Columbus Commons through the city streets and is wheelchair and stroller friendly. There is parking under the Columbus Commons and across the street on Rich St. Garage parking is $10 per vehicle.

Walkers who individually raise $150, can pick up an offical Columbus Autism Speaks t-shirt on walk day at the Registration Tent!

As a reminder, only service dogs are permitted to attend the walk and this is a smoke-free event.

Sometimes, the environment at an Autism Speaks Walk can become overwhelming for people with sensory sensitivities. All Autism Speaks Walks provide access to a quiet space should you or your loved one with autism become overwhelmed. We recommend finding the quiet area when you arrive at the Walk and sharing its location with your team for ease of access should it be needed.
