Sometimes the environment at an Autism Speaks Walk can become overwhelming for people with sensory sensitivities. All of our walks allow access to a quiet space that can be used as a safe outlet if you or your loved one living with autism becomes overwhelmed. We recommend finding the quiet area of your walk when you arrive and share its location with your team for ease of access later on in the day should it be needed.

We are walking at CLEVELAND METROPARKS ZOO October 13, 2024!

• Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, OH 44109.
• We are walking a one-mile loop. An alternate short route is available. 
• We Walk rain or shine!
• Registration/check-in open at 8:00 a.m. Opening Ceremony begins at 9:30 a.m. 
• Parking is free.
• All walkers who INDIVIDUALLY COLLECT $150 or more receive an official Autism Speaks Walk t-shirt.
• Autism Speaks resources, activities and local service providers will be accessible under the Palava Hut Pavilion starting at 8:00 a.m.
