Maleah's Au-some Adventure

Raised $1,852
Walk Goal $2,500

Help us reach our goal!

In addition to coming together in person to help create a world where all people with autism can reach their full potential, each Walk will retain the fun, remote-participation options introduced last year. Your safety is our priority — and no matter how you choose to participate, your support will be recognized and celebrated. Our community is stronger together, and we can't wait to celebrate one another and the amazing impact we are making together for people with autism and their families. Whether near or far, let's rally together on Walk day!

Maleah's Au-some Adventure

Today, over 70 million children and adults are affected by autism. Each of them, have unique strengths, challenges and potential.

Maleah is part of that number, after receiving her autism diagnosis in January 2023.  Since then, we have been very active in many ways - therapy/clinics, a new community of friends and now the Autism Speaks organization.

Each year, the Autism Speaks Autism Response Team makes direct contact with tens of thousands of individuals looking for advice or guidance and more than one million people access their free nationwide autism services and resources. They continue to partner and support research to improve the lives of people with autism by investing in science that will allow more personalized treatments and therapies. You can find out even more about where your fundraising dollars go at

Maleah will be the face of her team, Maleah's Au-some Adventure.  She will be designing t-shirts for all that choose to walk with us and/or just want to purchase a t-shirt.  We will be organizing kid-friendly fundraisers to raise money for the team/organization and on October 22nd, we will be participating in the Autism Speaks walk in Wheaton.

We invite anyone to join us on the walk day!  We also encourage additional forms of support whether that be moral support, a donation or just a share to bring awareness. No form of support is too little and we appreciate it all, especially Maleah!
