The Autism Speaks Potomac 5K and 1 Mile Walk, is a community focused DC Metropolitan area tradition. This family friendly event draws runners and walkers of all ages to kick off the July 4th holiday. Since 2001, more than $4 million has been raised for Autism Speaks through sponsorships, team fundraising and runner entries.

The race features a timed 5K run and family-friendly walk through a scenic neighborhood in Potomac, MD. The race draws runners from the local towns of Bethesda, Potomac and Rockville and expands to include runners from surrounding towns and states. The race also has a virtual component that draws runners from around the country. Whether participants join us in person or virtually, we will unite as a community on July 4th to support the autism community and raise critical funds to fuel the mission of Autism Speaks.
